everything, the room was wonderful with a great bathroom, the owners are a lovely couple and very helpful with local information, the breakfast was home cooked and 5 star, if you’re staying in this town don't even think of going anywhere else as you won't find anything as good as this

Unbeatable B&B and great hosts.
We have never stayed at a better B&B anywhere. Our hosts Elly and Hans were extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. The standard of their B&B is extremely high and the facilities they offer are unbeatable. The B&B is located in a very quite area with great views. Our hosts knowledge of Kenmare and the local tourist attractions was invaluable. Thoroughly loved our stay and wished that we could have stayed longer.

Gorgeous home with great rooms and hosts. The breakfast room has huge windows to see the mountains on either side. Elly and Hans were so welcoming, and Elly immediately offered coffee or tea and asked if we would like a treat. Such delightful people, it was like staying with family. Kenmare isn’t too far away from Killarney or Kinsale, so we will definitely stay here for longer next time! Elly also gave a great recommendation on our route to Kilkenny. I miss it already!

A wonderful B@B in quiet sorroundings - you'll want to stay forever.
Beautiful location with lovely views from conservatory-style dining room. Exceptional breakfast; tasty and presented like a five star restaurant. The house, bedroom and ensuite are sparkling clean with nothing out of place. Elly and Hans are beautiful and friendly hosts with wonderful local knowledge and great tourist-attraction ideas.

Amazing hosts, amazing B&B

Peaceful , pleasant, personal with an artistic flair. Great breakfast.
Hosts were especially nice. Answered all our questions about where to go and had papers prepared to direct us and best places to go. Very peaceful and well decorated. Glass dining room to see the mountains from both sides. Bed was great.

Amazing, Elly is full of recommendations, cooking is wonderful and the house is immaculate.
This Bed and Breakfast was the best!!! The hosts are amazing and the house is beautiful and clean. Elly makes an amazing breakfast and was more than happy to help us with our trip and give us lots of information (directions, maps, suggestions). It is super quiet and cozy with just a short 2 minute drive to town with lots of shops and restaurants. I can't wait to stay here again.

Excellent
Frühstück war hervorragend, alles war da sehr hübsch vorbereitet und super Qualität. Zimmer ist sehr schön und die Lage prima, ca. 30 Min. zu Fuß zum Zentrum. Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns wunderbare Tips für die weitere Reise gegeben.
Nichts. Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht gebucht.

We were welcomed as guests by Elly and Hans but left as friends! They are, without a doubt, the nicest, friendliest couple you could ever wish to meet. It was obvious from the start that they really enjoyed having guests and making sure that everything was perfect. All the food was home made. Elly makes delicious pancakes in the shape of a shamrock! Also her fruit and nut cake was so delicious that I have the recipe. If you are going to Kenmare the place to stay is Mountain View Bed and Breakfast.

Lovely place to stay! New house with new furniture, clean and tidy. Especially the room for breakfast is homy with the nice view on the mountain. The bannana pancakes were delicious. I really appreciate the hospitality of homeowners. They gave us plenty of recomendations where to go for a good dinner in Kenmare and also where to stop on the Ring of Kerry. I can only recommend. When I ever return to the Kenmare, I will sure go to the Mountain View B&B.

Un B and B remarquable à tous points de vue!
Tout: la qualité de l'hébergement (notamment: grande chambre, literie parfaite), du breakfast (ah! les pains irlandais....), de l'accueil (gentillesse des hôtes, super conseils pour les excursions et les restaurants de Kenmare) et de sa localisation (idéale pour visiter toutes les péninsules du sud-ouest) Bref, un des meilleurs, sinon le meilleur B and B que nous ayions eu en Irlande.

Traumhafte Unterkunft
Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an Willkommen und Wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist neu, wunderschön, geschmackvoll und persönlich eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer hatte tolle und bequeme Betten, jeweils 2 Kissen und wirklich ALLES, was das Herz begehrt (Kaffeemaschine, Teebereiter, Wasser für Tee und Wasser zum Trinken, Kekse, Fön etc.). Das Bad war exzellent ausgestattet. Groß, mit Wanne und separater Dusche, Handtücher für Gesicht, groß/klein... Shampoo, Duschgel waren auch vorhanden! Auch das Frühstück.... perfekt. Frisches Obst (unterschiedliche Beeren, Weintrauben, Kiwi), Pfannkuchen, Rührei etc. - es wurde JEDER Wunsch erfüllt und liebevoll zubereitet. Wir baten um eine Empfehlung zum Abendessen und Elly hat uns einen tollen Tisch in einem sehr angenehmen Restaurant reserviert. Für den nächsten Tag wurde uns eine Route zusammengestellt und Nachts war es traumhaft ruhig. BESSER geht es nicht. Herzlichen Dank für Alles, wir kommen gerne wieder.

The Breakfast .It was like Carlsberg......probably the best I have ever tasted. Bed was very comfortable Wonderful host and a beautiful house . highly recommended.
Our room was not en suite but we had a bathroom for our own use.

Best of the best!
Mountain View B&B is everything you hope for when traveling! Bright, beautiful, immaculate, and very comfortable! The bedroom was large, great beds, lots of storage and a large mirror and plugged-in hairdryer made it so convenient! The bathroom was immaculate, roomy and had a very nice shower. Elly & Hans were great hosts! When we arrived, Elly served tea and the best homemade fruit-filled chocolate cupcakes and we enjoyed talking with her. We ate our meals in a glassed-in sunroom/dining room with beautiful mountain views! She fixed whatever you wanted for breakfast, and it was delicious! This women is a great cook! She sent us on our way with large slices of homemade fruit bread and a feeling that we were leaving family!

Sehr gut!
Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit Kaffee und Kuchen empfangen. Das Haus ist neu, alles ist sauber und funktioniert prima. Die Dusche war die beste auf unserer ganzen Urlaubreise; das Frühstück grossartig. Die Gastgeberin hat uns super Reisetipps gegeben. Hier wären wir gerne noch eine zweite Nacht geblieben, leider war schon alles ausgebucht.
Etwas abgelegen, zu Fuss in die Stadt zu weit und entlang der Hauptstrasse: dafür mucks Mäuschen still in der Nacht...

Hier erleben Sie Bed & Breakfast in Perfektion!!!! Einfach zum Wohlfühlen.....
Bed & Breakfast in Perfektion liebevoll geführt von Elly und Hans. Nettes, fast nagelneues Haus in ruhiger Lage mit drei Zimmern. Alles sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ob Irish Breakfast, Rührei mit Lachs oder Pancakes, alles wird von Elly liebevoll zubereitet und serviert. Am Ring of Kerry können sie von der Lage kaum besser wohnen und was die Gastfreundschaft betrifft ist dieses B&B nicht zu übertreffen. Für uns das beste B&B ever und für mich besser als jedes 5 Sterne Hotel. Hier kann man sich einfach nur wohl fühlen. Großen Dank nochmals an Elly und Hans.

Das beste Frühstück was wir jemals hatten... dagegen kommt kein 4 Sterne Hotel an. Bei der Ankuft gab es erstmal ein Stück warmen Apfelkuchen. Hans und Elli sind super nett und hilfsbereit und kümmern sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste.

Nell' incantevole Kerry, con Elly ed Hans ci siamo sentiti a casa!
Bellissima struttura curata nei dettagli, ubicata in posizione tranquilla appena fuori il caratteristico paese di Kenmare. La posizione è ideale per visitare la parte più suggestiva del Kerry. I proprietari Elly e Hans sono fantastici, ti accolgono calorosamente e sanno dare consigli molto utili sulle escursioni e sui locali nelle vicinanze . La colazione spettacolare, ottima e abbondante, è preparata con passione da Elly.

Es war ein Traum - absolut saubere Unterkunft und super bequeme Betten. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Das Frühstück war wie auch der Rest von einer sehr liebevollen Handschrift gezeichnet. Bedroom & bathroom lovely, food was incredible, hosts, Elly and Hans .. the nicest we've ever met! Great location, stunning mountain view, art work around the house is a fabulous touch.
The bed was a bit firm for me but my 3 kids slept like logs:-)

Hans and Elly are amazing hosts. The house is in a quiet location close to Kenmare and has lovely rooms being clean and comfortable. Elly makes the most amazing breakfasts that set you up for the day. They also provide great knowledge of the local area and where the best places are to visit.

Schönstes B&B auf unserer Reise
Es war das absolut beste B&B auf unserer Irland Rundreise. Elli und Hans sind die absolut besten!!!! Elli hat das beste Frühstück gemacht was es gibt, alles absolut liebevoll hergerichtet. Von Elli haben wir richtig tolle Tipps für unsere Ausflüge bekommen. Super tolles Zimmer mit genialen Betten ( Boxspring ) und alles auf dem Zimmer was man so benötigt. Hierher würden wir sofort wieder kommen. Nochmals vielen vielen Dank an Elli und Hans und alles alles Gute weiterhin.

Elly y Hans encantadores, muy buen trato. La casa es preciosa muy limpia y muy bien equipada. La habitación para cuatro personas espaciosa y muy bonita. Las camas son cómodas y no hay nada de ruido. El desayuno muy completo y delicioso. Incluyen además un detalle como despedida. Si volvemos a Kerry repetiremos sin duda.

Un séjour très agréable grâce aux propriétaires qui sont très sympathiques.
Dans ce bed and breakfast tout est parfait. Elly et Hans nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous ont informé sur leur région pour que l'on puisse profiter au maximum de nos journées. Le breakfast est excellent et copieux et la chambre est très belle et très confortable. Quel plaisir!!!!!!

Fantastic B&B
Ellie and Hans were fantastic hosts who went far beyond our expectations. They treated us like a family. The B&B is small and spotless, our room was spacious and airy. Parking space is available. We were given individual attention with useful tips how to explore the area. Ellie was very patient with us explaining the route of the ring of Kerry with precise details. The town is situated 20min away and is a pleasant way if you had to walk it. Pick up or drop off to town are also available by the hosts.

Familiäres B&B mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Wir haben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen. Außerdem durften wir hier das beste Frühstück unserer Rundreise genießen - täglich frische Früchte und frisch gepresster O- Saft und immer eine nette Überraschung z.B. selbst gebackenes Bananabread. Die Zimmer waren mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der einzige winzige Nachteil - die Lage ca. 2 km außerhalb des Ortes - beschert einem gleichzeitig himmlische Ruhe mit tollem Blick auf die Berge und in unberührte Natur. Guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Ausflug zum Ring of Kerry. Vielen Dank nochmal an Elly und Hans für den schönen Aufenthalt

It was a fabulous experience to stay in Mountain View Bed & Breakfast! Property is pretty new and VERY clean, the room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Hosts are amazing people who really try to make everything possible for you to feel like home. Breakfast was amazing! We highly recommend this place if you travel to County Kerry.

Great base to explore Kenmare and the surrounding area from
The hosts were excellent. Worked hard at making the stay very pleasant. There was a good selection for breakfast, we opted for the scrambled eggs and salmon and both mornings it was superb. We had to leave early on the final day and the hosts were up with us and provided a light breakfast, even though it was early! We had the family room. Comfortable beds. Spacious bath and shower. Plenty of cupboard room for storage, and all very clean and tidy. Thanks to Hans and Elle, they'll look after you!

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen.
Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut, arrangiert wie ein Gemälde, außerordentlich liebevoll zubereitet und serviert. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt! Lage super mit Blick auf den Berg. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sollten wir Irland wieder besuchen, würden wir wieder Mountain View buchen. An-/Abreise und Aufenthalt ein tolles Erlebnis.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt, der meines Erachtens nicht mehr steigerbar ist.
Das Frühstück ist phänomenal. Es wird frisch zubereitet und ist so liebevoll garniert wie ich es vorher noch nie erlebt habe. Es ist das beste Frühstück, dass ich je auf meinen vielen Reisen erlebt habe.
Es ist alles perfekt bis ins kleinste Detail. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wie zuhause.

Eine tolle Unterkunft!
Sehr schöne moderne Unterkunft. Sehr sauber und angenehm. Sehr bequemes Bett. Die Gastgeberin war sehr warmherzig und hat uns mit sehr viele wertvolle Tipps versorgt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Die Lage war sehr gut. Kenmare ist nach 5min Autofahrt erreichbar. Wir waren nur 2 Nächte in diese Unterkunft aber wir werden sie nicht vergessen. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Zeer attentvolle Nederlandse gastvrouw en gastheer. Kleine attenties maken hier het verschil naast een mooie, ruime B&B, zeer proper en uitstekend gelegen als uitvalsbasis om de omgeving (Ring of Beara - Ring of Kerry) ter verkennen. Kenmare is een gezellig klein stadje om een paar dagen te vertoeven. Zeker aan te raden voor gasten die houden van rust.
Als er een kleine opmerking kan gegeven worden: de gastvrouw en gastheer doen het onthaal van de gasten op elk tijdstip (ook bij terugkomst van een uitstap s ‘avonds) in de hal. Gezien onze kamer aansloot op de hal zijn we rond 24u even wakker geworden.

Ruhig gelegen und sehr familiär
Das B&B liegt ruhig in einer Seitenstraße fußläufig ca. 20 Min von Kenmare entfernt und wird von einem niederländischen Ehepaar betrieben - super freundlich und tolle Gastgeber. Die Tipps und Empfehlungen waren unschlagbar, das Frühstück super. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

This is a beautifully situated and decorated property, and excellent value for money. Elli and Hans are warm and welcoming hosts. The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable, with every convenience thoughtfully provided, and detailed local information is given. The whole stay was brilliant from start to finish. Elly and Hans were brilliant hosts, the location was incredible, house immaculate and the room and bathroom was very comfortable and modernly decorated. The breakfast was very nice with good quality ingredients and prepared for a time of your choice. They also offer a lift service in to the town centre for half the price of a taxi (€5) although it was also a pleasant walk across the bridge. Hans also took the time to call round a couple of restaurants to make us a dinner reservation and was able to get us a table with his local connections. Highly recommend!!

Sogar Apfelsaft wurde extra für mich gekauft. :o) Wenn nicht Fullhouse ist, dann sitzt man mit den anderen Gästen am Tisch für tolle Gespräche. :) Die beiden bitten einen Taxiservice bis 23 Uhr für 5 EUR (pro Strecke) in die Stadt bzw. zurück an. Sonst 20 Min zu Fuß. Guter Spaziergang :)

Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich im Umgang mit Ihren Gästen - sie haben uns beim Einfahren auf den Hof direkt persönlich in Empfang genommen und wollten unsere Koffer in unser Zimmer bringen :-D Es sind sehr liebevolle Niederländer, die sich ein malerisches B&B in sehr schöner Lage aufgebaut haben bzw. noch aufbauen. Das Haus ist erst ein Jahr alt und sehr schön hergerichtet. Die Umgebung bietet perfekte Möglichkeiten zu verschiedensten Unternehmungen - mit die beste Gegend unserer Irland-Rundreise! Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr persönlich durch Elly hergerichtet. Hier würden wir jederzeit einen erneuten Stopp machen!

the guest house had lovely views over the mountains from the front and rear, the room was large and very comfy and the breakfast was superb. Best bed and breakfast in Kerry
This has been by far our best bed and breakfast experience of our lives. Ellie and Hanz were amazing hosts. The place was amazing, modern, super clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfy, we slept like babies. The highlight was Ellie's breakfast, it was absolutely amazing and she even packed us pastries to go. The only thing we regret is not having stayed at least one more night.

Very friendly couple running this B+B, excellent recommendations for food and things to do. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Netflix on the television which is quite handy. Delicious breakfast. Good value for money in what is a very touristy town. Would highly recommend.
The B+B is somewhat outside the town. This is fine if you have a car like we did or even if you don't mind walking in and out of town (it takes 20 minutes but it is a very pleasant walk!) so just something to be aware of if this is something that would affect your holiday.

Elly & Hans will give you the feeling of visiting a family member. The B&B is easy to find but still close to Kenmare City Center. You can park behind the house. The house is very clean, well furnished and you will not miss a thing. After a warm welcome Elly & Hans can help you with any question for you trip. They gave us good recommendations for where to go, what to see etc. Lovely - thanks again for that. The breakfast, cake, room - lets say: everything was just perfect!

Die beiden Gestgeber waren mehr als zuvorkommend, versorgten uns mit den besten Tipps, um die Gegend zu erkunden inkl. Tipps für den Abend. Das Zimmer und das eigene Bad waren super sauber und modern eingerichtet und Tee/ Nespresso inkl. Maschine/Shortbread...standen bereit. Das Frühstück...was sollen wir sagen: Es war der Hammer. Es wurde mit so viel liebe und Herz serviert. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. 100% Weiterempfehlung. So eine Unterkunft erlebt ihr nirgendwo anders!
Das Mountain View B&B war die mit Abstand schönste, komfortabelste und herzlichste Unterkunft während unserer Irland-Rundreise. Bei dieser Unterkunft gibt es einfach keine Kritikpunkte!

Elly & Hans sind die besten Gastgeber die man sich vorstellen kann. Das Haus ist ein Meisterwerk des guten Geschmacks, wunderschön gelegen, gemütlich und sehr sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen, mit Ausblick Richtung Hausberg. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und die Elly bzw. Hans jederzeit für einen da. Man wird immer wieder überrascht, egal ob mit Kuchen oder anderen Kleinigkeiten zum Frühstück. Wir durften hier auch den Essbereich zur Abendgestaltung nutzen (Essen und Spieleabend). Man fühlt sich rundum umsorgt und erhält auch viele Tipps für die Tage gestaltung, wenn es denn mal regnet.

Everything! The house is in a great location - very quiet but very close to town. Hans and Elly and great - very welcoming and friendly from the minute we arrived. Hans even booked us a table at a local restaurant. Room was perfect - very clean, comfy bed and big bathroom. Breakfast - wow! Elly has a great talent! The hosts went out of their way to make sure our vacation was wonderful! Elly is a wonderful source of information on the area and of spots to get good photo ops! She is also an excellent cook! Breakfasts were wonderful as is the view from the breakfast room! They added little special touches throughout our 3 nights in their home!

Einfach alles :) Elly und Hans sind so warmherzige, sympathische und tolle Gastgeber, da fühlt man sich gleich wie zu Hause. Das Zimmer war klasse - ruhig, groß genug, Sitzgelegenheit, Bademäntel und dieses riesige (megabequeme) Bett :) Das Bad ebenso - sehr sauber und tolle große Dusche. Das Frühstück war das Beste, was ich in 2,5 Wochen Irland genießen durfte (irisch) - lecker, Portionen echt super und auch bei Gluten-Unverträglichkeit hat Elly entsprechende Alternativen parat. Ich hab nirgends so gut geschlafen, mich so wohl gefühlt und so lecker gefrühstückt wie bei diesen beiden tollen Menschen :)

A beautiful week in one of the loveliest places, with the kindest of hosts.
We have just had the most beautiful time with Elly and Hans. Their home is gloriously large and spacious. The breakfasts are out of this world, and the home made cakes beyond belief wonderful. As a B&B, the facilities are absolutely the tops. But what made our stay so extra special was the kindness and thoughtfulness shown to us by our hosts. Hans and Elly were most welcoming and caring and made us feel 'at home' straight away. They were kindness itself and we found their knowledge of the local area invaluable. We cannot recommend Mountain View highly enough....it was just perfect!

Hans and Elly ( the owners of this nice B&B) are really very nice people. This B&B is very quiet and very comfortable. Hans and Elly are always available, they like to spend time with their Customer ( "beside a cup of tea and homemade coconuts cake or else...).. The breakfast is perfect with local smoked salmon. and Elly is really a professional cooker with a very artistic decoration of the plates. We really can feel that they love to meet people and make them happy. I really want to meet them again for my next stay in Ireland and Kenmare Philippe from Lyon

Absolutely beautiful!
Our stay at Mountain View B&B was absolutely stunning! Our hosts were such gentle persons. The rooms were beyond beautiful and always clean! Not to mention the delicious breakfast. I would 100% recommend this B&B.

Highly recommend, Hans and Elly were amazing hosts and went above and beyond.
Loved all the little extra touches, Han's called and made us a restaurant reservation as it was a busy weekend in town which was wonderful. Elly's breakfast was a highlight, I'm still thinking about the delicious pancakes.

Luxurious, bright , warm and cheery.
The food was amazing. Its a new property and everything was top quality, bright and beautiful. Elly and Hans looked after us as if we were family. It was hard to leave them.

The welcome was unsurpassable. Every little touch of kindness was shown to us. We felt like family with elly and hans. Elly and hans noticed things we liked and explained and recommended places and foods to try.i couldnt speak highly enough of them i wanted to cry when i left them.

Todo excelente. Elly y Hans unos anfitriones inmejorables. Hans llamó a un par de restaurantes para reservarnos ya que llegamos un poco tarde y era festivo en la zona. Desayuno excepcional y variado .. Elly cocina de maravilla. La casa, habitacion y baño espaciosos y muy limpios. Lugar muy tranquilo, en el bosque a 5 minutos de Kenmare. Kenmare un lugar excelente para disfrutar una cena, tomarse unas cervezas y escuchar musica en vivo ... muchos lugares y opciones a pesar de que es un pueblo pequeño.

A unique experience!

Incredible stay with the very best of hosts
Our stay at Mountain View BnB was one of the best accomodation experiences we have had the pleasure to enjoy. Elly and Hans are incredible hosts, and their property is just beautiful, over looking the mountain just a few minutes drive from the centre of Kenmare. Elly puts on the most amazing breakfast for you and both Elly and Hans have excellent tips and advise to share about the area which was much appreciated. They have a true love for this area of Ireland. Our room was really lovely and had the most comfortable bed. Everything was sparkling clean. Honestly nothing could have been better and I have no hesitation at all recommending this BnB. Kenmare is a delightful town too, much quieter than Killarney but still with lots of lovely shops and restaurants to enjoy.

Die Gastgeber legen Wert auf Qualität und kümmern sich sorgfältig um jedes Detail. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön möbeliert und die Sauberkeit ist absolut einwandfrei! Eli und Hans sind exzellente Gastgeber; wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefüllt. Sie haben uns super Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge, Restaurants empfohlen und gleich reserviert. Wir haben uns absolut verwöhnt gefüllt; angefangen mit dem Apfelkuchen bei der Ankunft, über das fantastische Frühstück mit Omelette bis zu dem Abschiedsgeschenk für die Weiterreise. .Es war eine unglaubliche schöne Zeit mit ihnen in Kenmare, wir würden gerne wieder zurück kommen!

Absoluut geweldig, fantastische verwennerij, zeker een aanrader
het ontbijt was iedere dag vers en met liefde bereid. Bijna alles is mogelijk, ook met dieet of allergieen. De eigenaresse maakte van je ontbijtbordje iedere dag een feestje.

The best B&B (Mountain view) in Kenmare
Wow - what a wonderful surprise. The owners had just moved into the brand new B&B (Mountain view B&B) which is in a lush green street not far from town. The owners, Elly and Hans, are a beautiful couple who made me feel so at home. The room had been perfectly designed with brand new appliances (hair dryer, pod coffee machine) and everything that you need. The house was immaculately kept and the food was fantastic (you must try the pancake!). Elly spent time explaining all the beautiful places and stops on the ring and even packed a lunch for me so I could sit on a beach half way round the ring of Kerry. Thank you so much for making my stay such a fantastic one that I will always remember. I will be back :). Oh - and make sure you try the food at the Horse Shoe, it is fantastic.

Wow it's just amazing. Elly & Hans couldn't have been nicer or done more for us. The food was all homemade and delicious. Wonderful fresh orange juice, hot croissants, homemade jams and marmalades. Excellent coffee. A selection of breakfasts. Beautiful baking. The house is spotless and has everything you would need. Dressing gowns, hair dryer, water sweets treats towels and toiletries. Elise is an amazing artist and it can been seen all over the house. Such a beautiful home and so welcoming. They meet us at the door with a warm welcomed and in carried our bags. It was just a magic experience.

Staying with Elly and Hans was such a treat! Not only is their home astounding and close to town but Elly is such an amazing cook! The breakfast was out of this world and they provided excellent recommendations on the town! We wish we could have stayed with them our entire time in Ireland. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. Elly was so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. She gave us great tips on what to do in the area and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Her breakfasts were amazing and she even packed us a delicious picnic lunch one day. I highly recommend to anyone interested in the Kenmare region to stay with Elly because it was just that much of a great experience for my wife and myself. It was actually one of the highlights of our amazing, fun filled trip to Ireland. It felt like staying with a dear, close friend and her hospitality was second to none. When my wife and I went out on our day trips Elly would even pack snacks, beverages for us and her local recommendations were spot on!

Elly and Hans are great hosts, they take such good care of you, makes lovely breakfast (vegetarian and gluten free even) and gives great touristic recommendations for you. They even waited up for us as we came in late Kenmare from Dublin because of our missed flight to Kerry. At Elly and Hans place, you will get a very nice and cosy room upstairs, in a house in beautiful surroundings - with a stream in the backyard!
